City councilman Lee Cook told the newspaper that Kynan Dutton, 29, was confrontational and made profane, racist remarks in the presence of children. Dutton was \”pretty drunk,\” according to Grant County Sheriff Steve Bay. During the meeting officials were discussing a moratorium on new buildings or trailers, a proposal Mayor Ryan Schock said was in reaction to the burgeoning white supremacist movement in the small town. The moratorium was approved after Dutton was removed, according to the Tribune.Dutton and his family were the first settlers to move to Leith to join Craig Cobb, a man who aims to turn the town of 24 residents into an Aryan enclave. The Dutton family is living in a home owned by Cobb, according to the Tribune.
