Florida Senator Bob Graham, who co-authored the report, has been a longtime advocate for the declassification of the censored pages. 9/11 Commission Vice Chairman Lee Hamilton has also been an outspoken supporter of the information being declassified.
“I’m embarrassed that they’re not declassified,” Hamilton said. “We emphasized transparency. I assumed incorrectly that our records would be public, all of them, everything.”
