Before Davis spoke out Thursday, Winston’s parents and supporters rallied outside Power Plant Live in downtown Baltimore, the place where they say police brutalized their son.
Renee Winston says her son’s “arm is broken in three places. It even popped out of its socket,” Winston said. They were injuries, she says, that required surgery.
Winston was at a birthday party at the Mosaic nightclub late Saturday night when police say he saw a friend being escorted out by police. A police report says Winston yelled at the officers, pushed one of them and went after them with clinched fists, which prompted his arrest.
