USA Today: Ohio man pleads guilty to plotting attack on U.S. officials

Abdulkader’s plan included abducting a member of the military at the person’s home and filming the execution, court documents say. He then planned a violent attack on the police station using guns and Molotov cocktails.Officials said the plots involved locations in southern Ohio, but they declined to be more specific. Court documents do not list the exact locations.According to court documents: Beginning in at least July 2014 and continuing into 2015, Abdulkader expressed his support for the Islamic State, also known as ISIL, on Twitter accounts.From approximately March 2015 to mid-April 2015, Abdulkader began speaking with a confidential informant about his desire and intention to travel to Syria in order to join Islamic State as a fighter.
