Israel Defense Forces Lob Grenade at Palestinians Having Coffee | News | teleSUR English

The one-minute video showed the military jeep pulling up in front of the Palestinians. As the vehicle begins to drive off, a grenade is seen coming from the back of the truck. From the footage, it is not clear whether words were exchanged by the two parties. The four men are then seen jumping up and running from the scene right before the the grenade explodes, causing damage to the front of the shop and the area.Hours after the incident, the IDF finally commented on the matter by saying, “The event is being reviewed.”Since that time, the IDF has decided to open an investigation into the episode. These terror attacks by the IDF and other armed forces in Israel, often caught on video — much like police killings of Black people in the U.S. —rarely get prosecuted by the government and often go unreported by the international mainstream media.
