Confirmed: Russian warplanes reportedly bombed US base in Syria

Russian warplanes reportedly bombed US base in Syria | Fox News – U.S. officials said that the Pentagon had never asked the Russians to steer clear of that area because it wasn’t close to the front lines and Russian aircraft didn’t operate in that part of Syria anyway. The strike has increased the distrust between U.S. and American forces in Syria. According to the Wall Street Journal, the U.S. didn’t want to give Russia any more information than they had to. Since the strike, the U.S. has told Russia to steer clear of the Jordanian border.

themoscowtimes.com / Russian Attack on Base Used by U.S. in Syria Confirmed by Diplomatic Source  — Russian Jets last month attacked a base in Syria used by U.S. and British forces, the Lenta news website reported Friday citing a military-diplomatic source in Moscow. The Wall Street Journal Friday reported that Russia’s air force had attacked the garrison of At-Tanf near the Jordanian border, which was used by U.S. and U.K. special forces as well as Syrian opposition. A contingency of around 20 British troops had left less than 24 hours before the attack, the newspaper claimed. The U.S. subsequently informed Russian air force command in Syria that the garrison was used by the U.S. in the fight against Islamic State and shouldn’t be attacked. Russian jets however, attacked the base a second time 90 minutes later despite warning signals sent from U.S. aircraft.U.S. officials and rebel leaders claim cluster munitions were used in the attacks and that four people were killed.According to the source, the strike happened because the U.S. refused to provide Russia with information on their activities regarding the areas where moderate Syrian opposition were active and observing a ceasefire. Russia had warned the U.S. led coalition of imminent Russian airstrikes in the area of At-Tanf, the source claimed.“The Russian side has already given a full explanation on this matter”, the source said. “There was a video conference between the U.S. and Russian military devoted to this and there is no need to repeat what was said there”. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov earlier declined to comment on the report of a Russian attack on a base in Syria used by the U.S., saying that the ministry of defence handled enquiries on the matter. Islamic State is a terrorist organization banned in Russia.

Russian Warplanes Bombed US Base in Syria – Reports – [southfront.org] – Citing U.S. military and intelligence officials, the WSJ added that the Russian strike on the CIA-linked site was aimed to pressure the White House to agree to closer cooperation with Russia in the Syrian skies. The report added that nearly a day before the strike, over 20 British special forces pulled out of the base, avoding Russian air raids. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Friday that Russia is not aware of incidents reported by the US media. “We have no knowledge [of the incident] and in this case I have nothing to comment on this newspaper article. Again, this is an issue that should be addressed to the Ministry of Defense,” Peskov said.

"I'm not racist, my wife is Asian!" What it's actually like looking Asian with a far-right, anti-feminist white father, and a self-loathing Asian mother who hoped for privileged "white, blue eyed babies." An appraisal of fetishes and self-hatred.

Why does it seem that the men that pursue Asian women as a "last resort," are generally the most strange, racist, spiteful and hateful people - especially against Asian men, other minorities and white women? If Asian women prefer white men - why is this, and what happens to the children - especially if they look predominantly Asian? Compiled by Asian-looking Eurasians and Hapas themselves. A community effort to explore the unintended consequences of "white fever" and "yellow fever", racism, fetishes, power imbalances, stereotypes, and the effect it has on a staggeringly large, growing, and unexplored new demographic. Why does it seem the children of Asian men and white women fare better and are more successful? Why is there such a double standard against Asian men and white women, whereas Asian women essentially default to white men? What happens when Half Asian sons resemble Asian men? Why do so many white supremacists, alt-rightists, and white nationalists have Asian partners? Why do racist white men fetishize Asian women, and why do Asian women fetishize white men - and what does that mean for the children? Compiled by the son of a racist white father and a racist Chinese mother.
