“The only way to strike a balance between vigilance, discrimination, (& terror) is to end Muslim immigration.”

David Neiwert //
Nick R. Martin // Neiwert said in a phone interview he was banned because the top image on his Twitter profile included an illustration from his book cover, which featured Ku Klux Klan hoods atop a series of stars from the American flag.

Twitter put a notice on his suspended page, reading: “@DavidNeiwert’s account is temporarily unavailable because it violates the Twitter Media Policy.” The company declined to comment specifically on Neiwert’s suspension, but its publicly available “sensitive media policy” includes rules prohibiting users from displaying “symbols historically associated with hate groups” in profile or header images.

This 30 May 2019 video says about itself:

Inside Spain’s far-right battleground: ‘When Franco was alive, it was safer

Vox became the first far-right party to win more than a single seat in Spain’s parliament since the Franco era when it won 24 in the general election. Last week, it fought its first mayoral campaign in El Ejido, a town in Andalucía with a population of 90,000 people, 30% of whom are migrants. Many of them work in the 150 square miles of greenhouses that surround the town. We follow the campaign and talk to Spaniards and migrants.

The recent European elections were a disaster for the British Conservative party of, basically already ex-, Prime Minister Theresa May. They have only four members of the European parliament (MEPs) left. Still, these MPs are members of the international European Conservatives and Reformists caucus in the parliament.

James McAuley // “This is a space of liberty and resistance,” said François Bousquet, the shop’s director and the editor of Éléments, a right-wing journal. When asked what was being resisted, he responded: “How to say it? To dominant leftist thought.”

Next door — at No. 9 Rue de Medicis — is the Red Wheelbarrow, an Anglophone bookshop named after a poem by William Carlos Williams.

On its Facebook page this past week, the Red Wheelbarrow was promoting a Holocaust Memorial book fair and a story time with the author of “Marielle in Paris,” about a mouse dressmaker who lives in an upside-down flowerpot. That’s hardly a political text. But the bookstore’s windows have featured titles such as “Dream Big Little Leader,” “Malala” and “Drawing Europe Together.”
A man who authorities say wanted to start a race war stayed on the social network Gab for days after he was arrested for allegedly inciting violence on it, according to a Hatewatch review. Gab, which is known for hosting white supremacist content, boasted on Twitter on June 17 it suspended Joshua John Leff for violating site rules. But police apprehended Leff on June 14, meaning his account stayed active three days later, Hatewatch determined. Furthermore, Gab CEO Andrew Torba contacted Leff’s account in April 2019, according to an archive of a post reviewed by Hatewatch. The two men conversed about a technical glitch that was impacting the site at that time. Police arrested Leff, 40, on June 14. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement alleges Leff engaged in written threats to kill and possessed a firearm as a convicted felon. Authorities say Leff went by the alias Paul Atreides and the handle @DarkLord79 on Gab. At least one picture shows a man using the Paul Astrides alias brandishing a firearm, according to Hatewatch’s review of his account. (…)
Fox News reportedly rejected a national advertising buy warning about the potential for fascism to take root in America after network leadership deemed it inappropriate “for their air,” according to The Hollywood Reporter. The 30-second-spot reportedly featured a 1939 Nazi rally in New York City and a warning that said, “It Can Happen Here,” while promoting this year’s Oscar-nominated documentary short A Night at the Garden. The local ad-buy spot was reportedly set to air during Monday night’s edition of Sean Hannity’s show, but was moved due to President Trump’s rally in Texas. A Night at the Garden’s film distributor then tried to buy a national spot on Hannity’s show through a media-buying agency but reportedly “was rebuffed by the network.” A national ad sales representative reportedly told the distributor’s agency that Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott said the ad was “not appropriate for our air” in an email.

Posts seem to indicate close cooperation between two supposedly rival parties
Two posts put out on social media by rival pro-Brexit parties have raised concerns that the two are coordinating their messaging and sharing personnel.

A Facebook post by UKIP on Monday morning in response to an article in the Independent on Labour’s Brexit policy was followed twenty-nine minutes later by an almost identical post by the Brexit party Facebook account:

Jeremy Jeffery Riesberg is the head of the Colorado chapter of the hate group American Identity Movement (AmIM, formerly known as Identity Evropa). Under the aliases “Felden”, “Jackson”, and “Andrew Jackson”, Jeremy advocates for national socialism, illegally posts white supremacist propaganda, and coordinates a network of racists in from his home in Colorado Springs. Ironically, Jeremy is married to a black woman who gave birth to their interracial child.
June 18, 2019 CHRISTINE STUART // BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (CN) — Slapping the noted conspiracy theorist with sanctions Tuesday, a Connecticut judge rejected the insinuation Alex Jones gave for why his computer had child porn on it.

“The court has no doubt that Alex Jones was accusing plaintiffs counsel of planting child pornography,” Bridgeport Superior Court Judge Barbara Bellis said.

Bellis is presiding over a defamation suit against Jones brought by the families of children and educators killed seven years ago at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

Alex Jones Sanctioned After Calling Child Porn a Set-Up

GRANT STINCHFIELD (HOST): I don’t think it’s any secret that the shift is on now to be full-on focus on confiscation. You mentioned during Barack Obama years and before, the Democrats were always anti-gun. But never to the level where they would openly admit about confiscation and the repeal of the Second Amendment. You just heard a senator from Illinois who said well maybe we just need to go out and confiscate all the firearms. The feelings has changed among them, they’re now open about their ultimate goals.

JOYCE MALCOM: Well it’s interesting that the two states that had representatives and senators come up with this proposal were Connecticut and Maryland, who have some of the strictest gun control laws. And Connecticut and New Jersey and I think Maryland too have tried to confiscate semi-automatics and no-one has handed them in. And the police have simply said that it would be suicide for them to go and try to get them. They don’t want to have to enforce something like that.

STINCHFIELD: Yeah. I don’t think anybody does and I think what America was built on, one of the fundamental tenets of why the Second Amendment is in place was to stand up to a tyrannical government. Those on the left would think, “Oh, you’re crazy, that was a different time, we could never go down that road.” But history has shown that countries can change very, very quickly to go down that road and I am in full belief that our Founding Fathers put the Second Amendment in there to make sure that we could stand up to a tyrannical government if it ever got to that point.
